How to Appeal Your Parking Charge Notice (PCN)

If you have received a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) and believe it was issued in error, you have the right to appeal. To ensure your appeal is processed, please submit it within 28 days of the PCN issue date.

Steps to Appeal:

Please note: Verbal or telephone appeals are not accepted. All appeals must be in writing and include the necessary supporting information.

What to Include in Your Appeal:

  • PCN reference number
  • Vehicle registration details
  • Date and time of the incident
  • Location where the notice was issued
  • A detailed explanation of why you believe the PCN was issued incorrectly
  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., photos, tickets, or receipts)

Once we receive your appeal, it will be placed on hold while we review your case. You will receive an acknowledgment of your appeal within 14 days, and a final decision will be provided within 28 days.
If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may escalate the matter to an independent appeal service, such as the
Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA).
